Hello everyone! This is one of my most exciting courses yet: our first e-course! If you've wanted to take a food styling & photography course but haven't been able to get away for one of our workshops or retreats, now is your chance to learn it all without leaving home—a great way to start the new year! 4 Live Video Lessons with Q&A at the end will be held each Saturday in January from 12-2 PM EST with additional course material, worksheets, and assignments sent to work on over the week. There will also be a Facebook group for attendees where they can discuss the course, ask questions which I will answer, and share information. The course will culminate in a final project, a recipe of your choosing that you photograph, style, and edit at home and then send in for review & feedback.

  • during the live lesson: discuss different styles of food photography like light vs. dark, heavily propped vs. minimalist, and warm vs. cool as well as look at examples, talk about how to find your voice, and discuss visual story telling and how that translates to telling the story of a dish or recipe.
